Somehow we got roped into doing a 5k as a family. Yes I was surprised too! But we did it! We all crossed the finish line together and under an hour and we were not the last across!Ashley's Activity Day leader is a runner so she wanted all the girls to do this free run with her and encouraged the families to join. We decided to give it a go knowing there would be no "running" involved for us. It was a very low key run and a lot of fun.
And as we walked we counted how many houses we passed by that I had done Pampered Chef Shows at. We passed or walked within 2 blocks of 12 houses. Pretty good for a 3 mile walk!
We won 2 drawings at the end. We got a free breakfast at Village Inn and a $25 gift card to Golden Corral.
